My twisted gingham quilt is now in the shop. This quilt features prints from the Everglades Collection by Michael Miller Fabrics and also some basics from Riley Blake Designs. It was straight line quilted and the pink really makes this one pop!

Pinkalicious
Here’s today’s pull…Pinkalicious. My favorite color in many different shades. Time to cut into this bright and cheery stack. Happy Tuesday!!
Lastly here’s a funny one…as I was getting some new prints ready to be photographed and listed, I had a little photobomber appear. Here is Olive again, the Maine Coon Cat. She loves fabric, so she’s definitely a keeper!
Olive Loves Quilts
Happy Tuesday! My plus sign quilt is now complete, and I’ve got some great pics to share. What I also have to share is that we recently got a new kitten and her name is Olive. She is a Maine Coon Cat, and she is adorable. What is cuter than a sweet little kitten you might ask? Well, a sweet little kitten who loves her quilts. Meet Miss Olive.
Olive came to live with us at three months old. We have another cat named Cali, and a dog named Bandit. Bandit loves Olive, but she’s not too sure about dogs yet. Olive loves Cali, but Cali sadly does not love her. Needless to say, Olive has two kids who absolutely adore her. She’s quite spoiled already.
Just a girl and her kitty. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Ok, now that I have shared this cuteness overload I’ve got to get back on track. (Don’t worry, I’m sure Olive will appear in many more photos, and maybe we can catch a glimpse of Cali the calico if she ever feels the urge to pose for me).
This plus sign quilt was made with Birch Organic Fabric in Birch basics and cream solid. This was the first time I have used Birch Fabric for a quilt, and it was great to work with, not to mention it’s certified organic for those who prefer such fabrics. I used straight line quilting and after completion let the washing machine do its final quilt magic. Check out the shop to see what other prints I have in stock from this great company under the Birch Fabric Section; you will not be disappointed.
Please excuse my quilt holder, she’s not quite tall enough to get the whole thing off the ground, but you can certainly get the full picture.
Miss Camrynn, my quilt model and quilt enthusiast. If it passes the Camrynn test, you know it’s a good one! 🙂
